This Québec government program is for the successful and sustainable development of farm businesses. It can be used by farmers or forestry operators.
How can this help my business?
- Individual companies can receive up to $5,000,000 for the development or diversification of an operation, business start-up or succession planning.
- Both farmers and forestry operators can apply.
- Operating expenses can be financed up to $500,000 at Prime + 1%
- Maximum rates are tied to residential mortgage rates
What else do I need to know?
- Eligibility requirements include:
- You must be performing a farming activity on a full or part time basis
- This program is only available in Québec
- Business Loan Insurance Plan is available (certain restrictions may apply)
