What to Look For In a Rental

If renting is the best choice for you, then you’ll need to make a few more choices. Use these tips to guide your decision:

What’s the best location for you?

Tip
Prepare a list of questions before you phone the landlord and try to get as much information as you can over the phone to get an idea of whether the rental is worth viewing.

Location matters, even if you’re renting. For example, do you want to live close to your workplace? Shopping? Recreational or social activities?

See Choosing the Right Neighbourhood for some helpful guidelines.

What type of rental should you choose?
