The sooner you get out word about your new address, the easier settling in will be. Some government agencies even require that you send a change of address within 90 days of moving.
Notify Canada Post first!
For a small fee, Canada Post will redirect your mail to your new address for six months. That way, you can send change of address notification to other companies and services as they send you mail to your new home.
