Open a Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA)

Existing Clients

If you hold another product or service with RBC Royal Bank, you can open a TFSA through Online Banking, by calling us or visiting a branch.

New Clients

Not yet a client? Please book an appointment at a branch to open your TFSA and set-up your automatic contributions. Be sure to ask what information you should bring.

Open your TFSA now

If you are an existing Online Banking client you can open a TFSA through Online Banking in 3 easy steps.

Step 1: From the "Accounts Summary" page in Online Banking, simply click on the link "More Applications..." in the Apply Now box on the right side of the page.

Step 2: Within the Investments section, select "Open a TFSA"

Step 3: Follow the steps to open your TFSA now.
