New Home Warranty Programs
Several provinces currently offer home warranty programs-click on the applicable links below for more information. If your province does not offer a new home warranty program, ask your local real estate board about available programs in your area.
PLEASE NOTE: Your warranty program will usually stipulate a timeframe within which you must report issues with your new home. Even if your builder has agreed to fix outstanding issues before the program expiry date, register with the program anyway. It will protect you should the builder fail to meet the deadline or correct items to your satisfaction.
