Cross-Border Funds Transfers
Do you bank in Canada and the U.S.?
RBC Access USA® provides you with the ability to easily transfer money online between your RBC Royal Bank accounts in Canada and your RBC Bank® US accounts. This means that you can transfer funds between your accounts when it is convenient to you, from any location with Internet access.
Which accounts can I transfer to/from?
With this service you can transfer money between your RBC Royal Bank Personal Savings and Chequing accounts in Canada and your RBC Bank US Personal Checking, Savings or Money Market accounts in the U.S.
At this time, this service is only available for personal accounts.
Getting started with the service
In order to transfer funds between personal your RBC Royal Bank and RBC Bank US accounts, you will need:
- A personal account with both RBC Bank and RBC Royal Bank.

- Sign up to view Online Banking with Single Sign-In.
Single Sign-In allows you to view your RBC Royal Bank and RBC US banking accounts in one online session. With this service you only have to sign in once to view your accounts with both institutions.
Transfer Limits
These transfers have a limit of $25,000 per transaction regardless of currency. For transfers greater than $25,000 up to $100,000, please contact 1 800 ROYAL® 5-5(1-800-769-2553).
Preferred Foreign Exchange Rates
RBC Access USA Preferred package holders will receive preferred rates on cross-border funds transfers.
Fees
Currently, there is no additional charge for this service. Your regular account service charges will apply (dependent upon the type of account/package you have with us).
