FAQs
How can I learn to use the online banking site?
You really don’t need any special training to be able to use your online banking services right away. Since you’re already reading this page on your web browser, you have all the skills you need to bank online. Most people learn as they go: enroll, login and try it out: the RBC Online Banking site is designed to be easy to read and navigate, with examples and help along the way, if you need it.
What if I make a mistake when paying a bill or making an online transaction?
Mistakes happen and can be fixed. Every time you make a new transaction on RBC Online Banking, you’ll be prompted with a summary to review and confirm the details before you finalize them, to help reduce errors. And, even after a transaction is made, you’ll see instructions on the screen on what to do if you’ve made an error. In most cases, your transaction can be reversed; contact us at 1-800-769-2555 to learn more.
What if I need to show proof of my account for a mortgage, loan or other application?
eStatements are official bank documents. So if you need to show proof of account, simply print or save your eStatement and submit with your application.
How can I show proof of payment for transactions done online?
Online banking provides you with the same valid recordkeeping as branch-based transactions. Bill payments are recorded and given a reference number that acts the same as a teller stamp. You have the opportunity to print or save a copy, and the transaction will also be recorded in your online banking history.
