Whether you’re at the ATM or in a branch paying your bills is now just as simple as it is in Online Banking. Just select the right payee from your Payee List and indicate the amount you want to pay. And, if you like, you can make the payment effective on any day in the future or set up recurring bill payments.
All you need to do is register your bills with us, and we’ll take care of the paperwork.

Once your bills are registered, you can pay them any time it's convenient for you - through Online Banking, at any RBC ATM, in the branch or by telephone. All you have to remember is how much you need to pay.

After you set up your Payee List in Online Banking, you can pay up to 10 bills at one time with our Pay Multiple Bills feature. Pay from any valid RBC Canadian savings, banking, Royal Credit Line® or RBC Visa* accounts you hold with us. It’s convenient AND secure. Best of all, there will be only one transaction banking fee applied when you pay multiple bills at one time.†

Online tax filing
If you choose to register your bills through Online Banking, you can remit your tax payments electronically.
For Personal Clients:
If you use Netfile to file your personal income taxes, you may pay any taxes owing using your Social Insurance Number (SIN) through Online Banking. Even if you don't Netfile you may pay your personal taxes through Online Banking.
For Business Clients:
You may use our Online Tax Filing service to file and pay your Federal and Provincial tax payments.

Whether you pay your bills at an RBC Royal Bank branch, ATM or through Online Banking, you'll receive a paper record or confirmation number of the transaction letting you know that your payment has been processed and who your payment was made to.
