• Transfer your pre-authorized payments from your old financial institution. For example, automatic debit payments like utility bills, loan payments, RRSPs, insurance premiums, club memberships, etc.
• Schedule the changes so you can manage your cash flow during the process
• Send a request to close your old bank account
• Provide advice on what to expect throughout the process

What to expect

Visit your RBC Royal Bank branch or speak with your Account Manager and we will complete and forward the CustomSwitch Authorization to the RBC Royal Bank CustomSwitch Centre on your behalf. During the process, a CustomSwitch Representative will call you at your pre-chosen date and time period to obtain your pre-authorized transaction information. Once everything is finalized, a letter of confirmation will be mailed to you.
