This Québec government program is for the successful and sustainable development of farm businesses. It can be used by farmers or forestry operators.

How can this help my business?

• Individual companies can receive up to $2,000,000 for the development or diversification of an operation, business start-up or succession planning.
• Both farmers and forestry operators can apply.
• Operating expenses can be financed up to $500,000 at Prime + 1%
• Maximum rates are tied to residential mortgage rates

What else do I need to know?

• Eligibility requirements include:
  
  
  • You must be performing a farming activity on a full or part time basis
• This program is only available in Québec
• Business Loan Insurance Plan is available (certain restrictions may apply)
