Now there is an important new service offered to RBC Royal Bank® Visa cardholders that helps you monitor your credit rating and helps protect you against credit fraud. It is a comprehensive service that monitors your personal credit file each business day and alerts you to changes such as inquiries made, new accounts opened in your name and requests for an address change. This service will not only help protect you against identity theft but will also allow you to verify changes that could affect your credit rating and even indicate credit fraud.

Benefits
Credit Report. You will first receive an easy-to-read copy of your Equifax credit report complete with your credit score so you can make sure that your information is accurate with no unexpected activity.
Notify ExpressSM. You will be alerted the next business day any time there are changes to your account. Credit report inquiries, which are a key indicator of identity fraud, are monitored from both major Canadian credit reporting agencies - Equifax and Trans Union. Mail or E-Mail alerts allow members to respond quickly when identity fraud is suspected.
Quarterly Credit Update Report. Every three months you will receive a new score, information on any new accounts opened, certain inquires made, address changes and identification information changes.
Credit Education and Fraud Specialists. Members can call an expert to help them understand the factors in their credit report and how to protect themselves from further damage if they should become a victim of identity theft.
Online Availability. Members can check their personal information and review the changes that have taken place through 24 x 7 access to our secured website.
Credit Fraud Resource Centre. The trained specialists at this centre will walk a member through the steps of restoring his or her credit if they should become a victim of identity theft.
