Monthly expenses
In order to determine how much of your total income can be used toward your mortgage payment, please enter your monthly estimated cost for property taxes and heating. If you are unsure about what amounts are appropriate, combined annual heating costs and property taxes may be estimated at about 3% of the purchase price of your home. Use the following table as a rough guide:
