You can choose to set them up through RBC Online Banking or through the RBC Mobile app. Simply set your Alerts and choose when and how to receive them — by text message, email, or push notifications on your mobile device.
Plus, all Alerts are automatically sent to your Alerts Inbox in both RBC Online Banking and RBC Mobile for your records .

1) RBC Mobile is operated by Royal Bank of Canada, RBC Direct Investing Inc. and RBC Dominion Securities Inc. RBC Online Banking is operated by Royal Bank of Canada.

2) Interac e-Transfer transactions are free for all personal chequing accounts. An Interac e-Transfer fee of $1.00 for RBC personal savings accounts, or $1.50 for RBC business deposit accounts, may apply. Service not available on U.S. chequing accounts.

3) If you are eligible, we may give you the option to exceed the maximum daily limit up to $10,000 CAD per day, if you successfully complete an additional authentication process. This involves receiving a one-time password by text message from us to your mobile phone and entering it in order to complete the transaction. To be eligible for this service, you must have a Canadian mobile phone number recorded with us. Otherwise, the maximum daily limit is $2,500 CAD.

4) Not available to recipients in Canada and restricted countries. If your Recipient lives in Canada, you can send them a free Interac e-Transfer from your RBC Royal Bank personal chequing account.

5) You may be subject to fees from your mobile carrier according to your mobile messaging plan.

6) Credit card, budget and RBC Offer Alerts can only be set up and managed through RBC Online Banking.
