Pre-Authorized Bill Payments/Transfers

Although you have several options for setting up pre-authorized payments, the easiest method is through RBC Online or Telephone Banking. Consider the benefits:

• Simplicity - Once you add a company to your Payee List (in Online Banking) you can make a payment in 3 easy steps.
• Speed - Payments made before 6 p.m. on business days are processed the same day and can be canceled same day (before 6 p.m.) if an error is made.
• Convenience - Make a payment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere. No postage, no line-ups, no hassles.

How do I arrange for a one-time or recurring pre-authorized payment?

• Use the "Memorized" option in Online Banking. For instructions, please review our Basic Personal Tutorial for Online Banking.
  
  Sign In to Online Banking. Not enrolled? Enrol Now!
• Use the "Memorized" option in Telephone Banking.
  
  Not enrolled? To enrol, call 1-800-769-2511. If you are overseas, call 506-864-2275.
• Ask your local branch to make the arrangements for you. Simply complete a pre-authorized payment form for each bill you want paid automatically and regularly and we'll take care of the rest.
