How do I apply?

If you have an existing RBC Royal Bank^® personal fixed or variable rate loan or Royal Credit Line^®, you can apply for LoanProtector^® insurance, by:

• Contacting the Insurance Service Centre 1-800-ROYAL 2-3 (1-800-769-2523) to apply over the phone (Residents of Quebec & Alberta, please see the note below*);
• Visiting your RBC Royal Bank branch, where you can talk to a Credit Specialist and complete a LoanProtector Insurance Application

* Due to provincial legislation in Alberta and Quebec, clients in these provinces are required to go to an RBC Royal Bank Branch in order to enrol

We offer a 10-day free look period

• You have the option to cancel your insurance coverage within 10 days of when the coverage begins
• You will receive a full refund of your premiums, if any have been collected

If you don't already have a RBC Royal Bank personal fixed or variable rate loan or Royal Credit line, our Credit Specialists can help you select the RBC Royal Bank borrowing options that are right for you. Whether you talk to them in person or on the phone, they will make it quick, easy and convenient for you to get the credit you need. You'll then be able to apply for LoanProtector insurance.
