Why Renovate?

Feathering the Nest

Statistics show that people today are spending more and more time at home. Instead of spending this extra time working on or maintaining the home, many people have chosen to undertake renovations that cut down on the workload and free up more leisure time. Other renovations are then often made to help them enjoy that extra time.

This trend towards cocooning has led many a home owner to undertake renovations for the sheer pleasure of the final product. These types of renovations are often non-essential, and are usually undertaken only as finances permit.

Perhaps you are presently considering one of the following types of projects:

  • installing aluminum siding on the outside of your home to cut down on exterior maintenance
  • replacing your windows with aluminum or cedar windows to cut down on painting
  • building a screened-in backyard deck to extend your living area during the warmer weather.
  • partitioning your basement to build a small exercise room
  • setting up a home office
  • assembling an in-home theatre complete with big-screen television and built-in stereo

These types of renovations - the ones that make your home more comfortable - are limited only by your own interests, imagination and finances.
