1) The application itself is divided into three sections. Complete each section as follows:
Contact & School Details

Requires you to provide basic contact details, including your email address, phone number, mailing address, etc.

Requires you to provide information about your past school, degree, GPA, etc.

Requires you to indicate the medical/dental school you are currently attending
Volunteering & Employment

Requires you to provide information on your volunteer experience, internship and paid work experience
Essay Questions

Requires you to answer two essay questions detailing a community or environmental based cause you are passionate about and how you would mobilize others to be as passionate for your cause

Your essay answers will be judged based on a combination of the following:

Creativity/originality
-
Clarity of thought and communication of arguments
-
Persuasiveness
-
Potential positive impact
-
Grammar and spelling
-
Please remember not to include any personal information such as names, addresses or schools attended in your essays.
Application Scoring
The scoring percentage breakdown for individual applications is as follows:

Academic Achievement: 10% of total score

Extracurricular Activity: 35% of total score
-
Essay Answers: 55% of total score
2) You will be required to review and accept the Scholarship Terms and Conditions on the application form.
3) If you are under 17, your parent or legal guardian must review the Scholarship Terms and Conditions and confirm acceptance on your behalf.
