We understand that being a student means there’s not a lot of extra cash lying around to pay the bills. That’s why we’ve made provisions for six recipients to take home an RBC Royal Bank Scholarship for Undergraduates.

Here’s how it works:

Four potential recipients will be selected from all eligible entries and then two (2) further recipients will be selected from a pool of entries from existing RBC Royal Bank clients based on their passion, persuasiveness and creativity in reference to a community or environmental issue as well as their ability to communicate the importance of that issue to others. More specifically, students will be judged based on their academic performance, level of extracurricular activity, volunteerism, work experience and the completion of two essay questions. Application Scoring

The scoring percentage breakdown for individual applications is as follows:

• Academic Achievement: 10% of total score
• Extracurricular Activity: 35% of total score
• Essay Answers: 55% of total score
