WHAT IT IS: Women In A Home Office is a national business network offering support to women from, or thinking of working from, a home office. It consists of local community chapters and a national on-line network.
WHAT YOU GET: Ten monthly meetings, a directory listing on the web site, access to a members-only area, a weekly e-bulletin, quarterly newsletter, discussion board, classifieds, 8-10 business seminars and much more. These are all available locally on-line using web conferencing technology.
MEETINGS: Each chapter meets monthly in their local community and on-line once a month. Check Web site for times. Meetings consist of a guest speaker, member profiles, "around the room in 30 sec" and networking. The on-line session also includes a "virtual meeting room".
MEMBERSHIP COST: There are 4 levels of membership available starting at $99. A nominal registration fee applies for each monthly meeting and workshops.
