Follow these easy steps to make a contribution
or switch within your RRSP online:
- Sign in to Online Banking.
- From the ‘Account Balances’ page, click
on the RRSP account on which you wish to transact.
- Click on ‘Contribute to this RRSP’ or
‘Switch Investments within this RRSP’.
- Simply click on the investment option that suits
you best - Mutual Funds, GICs or RRSP Savings Deposit.
- Enter the transaction information requested.
- Your contribution or switch has been made!
Interest rates, model portfolios, historical performance of funds and
research tools are provided within the Online Banking site to help you
manage your RRSP investments. For even greater convenience, you can use
the financial calculators listed below to help you get answers to many
of your investing and retirement questions.
- How much RRSP savings do I need?
- How much should I save in addition to my RRSP?
- How much retirement income can I expect from my RRSP?
- How much can I contribute to my RRSP?
- How many years will my RRIF last?
- How much will my RRSP be worth?
To make additional contributions or switch between investment options
online, you must be enrolled in Online Banking and have an existing RBC
Royal Bank RRSP account.
If you are already an Online Banking customer, you can sign
in now. If you are currently not enrolled in Online Banking, you can
enrol now.
To purchase RBC Funds online, you must have already provided us with
your Investor Profile, which you can view by clicking on Investor Profile
from the RRSP Account Details section within the Online Banking site.
If you are providing us with your Investor Profile for the first time
or need to change your existing profile, you must visit your branch or
call 1-800-ROYAL®1-1 (1-800-769-2511).
To open an RBC Royal Bank RRSP account or to invest by phone simply call
1-800-ROYAL®1-1
(1-800-769-2511) and press 5 at the prompt. Investment representatives
are available from 6 a.m. to 4 a.m.(ET), Monday to Friday.
