The Government of Canada is providing the Canada Emergency Business Account to support Canadian businesses that have been adversely affected by COVID-19. Businesses that are approved for CEBA will receive a $40,000 loan for immediate financial support to cover short term operating expenses, payroll and other non-deferrable expenses which are critical to sustain business continuity. In order to request enrollment for the Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA), as per the Government of Canada’s requirements, the organization must meet certain criteria based on their qualifying stream.
