RBC employees participate in community beach clean-up to celebrate World Environment and Oceans Day (TRINIDAD & TOBAGO)

PORT OF SPAIN (TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO) – June 10, 2022

RBC Royal Bank employees collected nearly two thousand pounds of debris from Chagville and Harts Cut, Chaguaramas on the weekend in observance of World Environment Day and World Oceans Day. The initiative is part of RBC’s commitment to environmental sustainability and an investment in the future of the planet.

More than 120 employees gathered to clear garbage, and other debris, including glass bottles, aluminium cans, plastic bags, and Styrofoam containers along the beaches. T eam RBC collected 145 bags of debris weighing 1,950 lbs. in partnership with the International Coastal Clean-up and Caribbean Network for Integrated Rural Development (CNIRD).
