The "50% more points" offer is determined on the purchase transaction date and all qualifying transactions made between August 23, 2021 and September 30, 2021 will be eligible for 1.5 points for every US dollar (or local equivalent). Bonus points for all qualifying purchase transactions will appear on your rewards account within 5 business days after the transaction has been processed by the merchant and posted by the payment network (Visa) or Royal Bank. Qualifying purchase transactions are determined based on the merchant country code through the Visa network. Additional terms and restrictions may apply.

Redemption categories for Shopping Rewards are limited to retail, grocery, restaurants and home improvement. Redemption statement credit for Shopping Rewards does not replace the minimum payment on your account and can only be redeemed against a posted transaction. You must therefore always make your minimum payment regardless of the value of your Shopping Reward in order to ensure that your Account is in good standing and not past due. Posted transactions may take up to 7 days to appear on the website. Additionally, it may take up to 7 days for a credit to be processed to the Account for all statement credit redemptions.
