Provide your RBC credit card or debit card number to the organization that will be sending you money and one that is enabled with Visa Direct capabilities (not all organizations have these capabilities).

The organization will deposit funds directly into the account associated with your card.

Danica, an RBC client, has an insurance claim. Ahmad, an insurance adjuster asks if she has an RBC credit or debit card. Using Visa Direct, he can send the money to her card.
Danica shares her card information and then sees the funds in her account within 30 minutes. So much faster than waiting for a cheque in the mail!

Yes, there are limits in place that determine what can be received on a daily, weekly and monthly basis: 1 day - 150 transactions or $20M CDN; 7 days - 250 transactions or $50M CDN; 30 days - 750 transactions or $100M CDN.
Because the 16-digit card number on the Primary Business Client Card is identical to the Additional Business Client Card and Deposit-Only Agent Card the funds will be deposited to the account in the primary chequing or savings positon of the Primary Business Client Card.
There is not a specific fee for Visa Direct payments however, Electronic Deposit Charges may apply depending on your account.
