How do I qualify for this offer?
This offer is available to a select group of primary cardholders of WestJet RBC World Elite MasterCard and WestJet RBC Mastercard.
You can qualify for the offer by:
- opening a new RBC Signature No Limit Banking account or RBC VIP Banking account, as a primary owner between July 3, 2025 and the end date of the campaign (November 3, 2025 at 9:00 PM EST)
- completing two of the three of the Qualifying Criteria from your new account by January 31, 2026 at 9:00 PM EST, which are:
- 1 automated and recurring payroll or pension direct deposit or,
- Set up and complete 2 pre-authorized payments, or
- Set up and clear 2 eligible bill payments to a service provider (i.e. utility bill, cable, etc.) through Online or Mobile Banking
The offer is available to Canadian residents who:
- have never had a Personal Banking Account (chequing account) with RBC nor qualified for any of our offers related to opening a Personal Banking Account at any time during the Promotional Period or in the five-year period before the start of the Promotional Period.
- have attained the age of majority as defined in their province of residence prior to November 3, 2025.
- is a primary cardholder of WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard and/or a WestJet RBC Mastercard that is in good standing.

What can 60,000 WestJet points get me?
Every 100 WestJet Points can be redeemed for $1 CAD off WestJet Flights and WestJet Vacations packages. You can also use your points towards taxes, surcharges and fees, as well as seats, bags and cabin upgrades.
When will I receive my WestJet points?
After completing the criteria by January 31, 2026, the WestJet points will be deposited into your WestJet Rewards account within 10 weeks of you completing the Qualifying Criteria. This means either your direct deposit payroll has been deposited to your new account OR the two eligible bill payments or 2 pre-authorized payments you set up have both been debited from your new account.
I did not receive my WestJet points. What could be the reason?
You may have not received your WestJet points due to one of the following:
- If the qualifying criteria was not completed by January 31, 2026.
- Your new eligible account was downgraded or closed prior to November 3, 2025.
- The recurring payroll, 2 bill payments or two (2) pre-authorized payments were not recognized by RBC Royal Bank
- Your WestJet member account on file may not be correct as it must match the RBC credit card in order to be linked to receive any WJ earned on your card.
If I opened a joint account with my partner, then do we each receive 60,000 WestJet Points?
Only the primary account holder who is not an existing owner of a personal banking account is eligible for the offer. Please note, the client whose primary on the WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard and/or a WestJet RBC Mastercard must also be the primary on the new account in order to qualify.
Can I still qualify if I don’t use an automated recurring payroll direct deposit?
Yes, as long as you set up and complete two (2) Pre-Authorized Payments and have paid 2 eligible bills and both payments are debited from the new eligible account by January 31, 2026.
What types of payments count as Pre-Authorized Payments and meet with the offer requirements?
If you choose to qualify for this offer with the two (2) pre-authorized monthly payments (PAPs) option, the payments must be withdrawn from your new eligible account by January 31, 2026. You can set up the two (2) pre-authorized monthly payments from two (2) different companies or if you set them up with the same company, the 2 pre-authorized payments must be for different account numbers. Pre-authorized monthly payments include, but are not limited to, utility bill payments (hydro, water, cable, phone, internet), pre-authorized contributions to your investments and gym membership payments.
If I open more than one banking account, can I get more than 60,000 WestJet Points?
No. The offer is limited to one reward per customer during the Promotional Period.
The offer is only available for new personal banking clients who open an RBC Signature No Limit Banking account or RBC VIP Banking account during the Promotional Period and complete the Qualifying Criteria.
No. This offer is only for clients who have never had a Personal Banking Account nor qualified for any of our offers related to opening a Personal Banking Account at any time during the Promotional Period or in the five year period before the start of the Promotional Period. Account upgrades do not qualify for the offer.

I believe I qualified but I did not receive my WestJet points. What do I do?
Please contact your branch or our Advice Centre at 1-800-769-2511 no later than February 13, 2026 if you have not received your WestJet points. Any notice received after this date, will not be accepted and you will be deemed not to have qualified for this Promotional Offer.
How long do I need to keep my account open and continue with the qualifying activities?
Your Eligible Personal Banking Account must remain open and in good standing, and the Qualifying Criteria you performed to get the 60,000 WestJet Points (such as payroll/pension deposit, bill payment or pre-authorized payment) must remain in effect until at least November 3, 2026.
Why don’t I see my WestJet points on my monthly credit card statement?
Your WestJet points will not show up as a regular credit card transaction however it will appear in your WestJet Rewards account. Please log-in to your WestJet Rewards account at www.westjet.com/account. You will see your WestJet points under “Transactions.” Remember it can take up to 10 weeks for the WestJet points to be credited to your WestJet Rewards account.
