Couples can reserve a private room in this Victorian home or stay in the carriage house for less than $100 per night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>What to do: <\/b>If you&#8217;re looking for fun on the cheap, <a href=\"http:\/\/visithistoricsavannah.com\/forsyth-park\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Forsyth Park<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.savannahcitymarket.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">City Market<\/a> are two free options to consider. Also many tourist attractions may be closed during February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Where to stay: <\/b>Hotels downtown don&#8217;t always come cheap but the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.destinationhotels.com\/royal-st-charles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Royal St. Charles<\/a> is an exception. This Mardi Gras-inspired boutique hotel sits in the middle of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.frenchquarter.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">French Quarter<\/a>, close to all the major attractions. You can also find comfortable (and affordable) accommodations close by through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airbnb.ca\/s\/New-Orleans--LA\/homes\" data-dig-id=\"LP-57672-e2ebc121\" data-dig-category=\"LP\" data-dig-action=\"link click\" data-dig-label=\"Airbnb\" class=\"rbc-link-format\">Airbnb<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>What to do: <\/b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.neworleansonline.com\/tools\/streets\/bourbonstreet.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bourbon Street<\/a> is a must-see if you&#8217;re interested in the local nightlife but a visit during the day may be better if you&#8217;re looking for something low-key. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airbnb.ca\/sanibel-island-fl\/stays\" data-dig-id=\"LP-57672-4c4ced1a\" data-dig-category=\"LP\" data-dig-action=\"link click\" data-dig-label=\"average price to rent an entire home\" class=\"rbc-link-format\">average price to rent an entire home<\/a> through Airbnb is $100 per night, by comparison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>What to do: <\/b>Collecting shells along <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leegov.com\/parks\/facility?fid=0103\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bowman&#8217;s Beach<\/a> is a popular (and low-cost) pastime for tourists and locals alike. <a href=\"http:\/\/periwinkleplace.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Periwinkle Place<\/a> offers picturesque scenery as you shop or enjoy a romantic meal at one of the nearby restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Suites run for less than $100 per night for a January booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>What to do: <\/b>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.harwoodmuseum.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Harwood Museum of Art<\/a> is not to be missed if you and your significant other are creative types.
