Learning remotely can even help you gain skills to compete in the post-COVID world once you graduate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are six ways learning online can prepare you for your future at school and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Enhance Your Language Skills.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Language may be a challenge for some international students while studying in Canada. Duolingo tends to be most popular among those who want to practice a language instead of learning it from scratch.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-rbc-list-item\">\n<p>At&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.esl-lab.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Randall\u2019s ESL Cyber Listening Lab<\/a>, you can work on your English listening skills with words and phrases you\u2019re likely to hear on a daily basis, both in class and in social settings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Expand Your Skill Set.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You may be studying life sciences \u2014 but why not take this opportunity to expand your focus with a coding or programming course to round out your skill set? Boost Your Digital Literacy.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Chances are, like most students, you&#8217;re pretty digitally literate already. But are there areas you can explore further? Have you mastered video calling and online assignment submission? Do you know how to create your own live event (say, to facilitate a group project)? Are you familiar with a wide range of platforms so you can choose which one works best for you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The best way to improve your digital literacy is to explore the online world yourself and practice activities you may need to do for school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6.
