With a credit card, you&#8217;re borrowing money from the credit card lender. When you borrow from financial institutions, retailers, or lenders, that information stays in your credit file for seven years.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-rbc-list-item\">\n<p><strong>Certain credit cards are accepted worldwide.<\/strong>&nbsp;RBC credit cards are accepted across the country and around the world.
