The date code varies by manufacturer, but you can use it to decipher their code and learn the age of your appliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Should I repair or replace a faulty appliance?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you know the age and lifespan of your appliances, you can use it as a barometer for whether to replace or repair an appliance that isn&#8217;t working properly. If an appliance breaks down past its lifespan, it&#8217;s probably time to part ways.
