Add an Interac e-Transfer recipient to my Payee List

Interac e-Transfer lets you send money to anyone with an account at any Canadian Financial Institution.

If you send Interac e-Transfers to a particular recipient frequently, you can add them to your Payee List.

  1. From the Banking tab under My Accounts, select "Pay Bills and Transfer Funds"
  2. Select "Add INTERAC e-Transfer Recipient" from the Related Services menu.
  3. Enter the payee's name, email address, the security question the payee will have to answer, and the answer to that security question.
  4. Select "Continue" and confirm the information.

You will now be able to select that recipient from the "To:" dropdown box on the "Pay Bills and Transfer Funds" page. You won't have to re-enter the recipient's email and security question every time you send an Interac e-Transfer.
