What is Screen Sharing?

Screen sharing, also known as "co-browsing", allows you to share your computer screen with an RBC representative so they can see what you're seeing. This way, the representative can more easily troubleshoot problems you may be experiencing while banking online, guide you through an application or provide step-by-step instructions.

  • Information shared during the session will be used solely for the purpose of assisting you and will not be saved.
  • Co-Browse is a secure service governed by the Legal Terms of Use Legal Terms of Use (opens new window) and by any client electronic access agreement governing access to RBC secure online services.

Desktop Requirements:

  • To use this service, your computer must have Java version 1.4.2 or higher.
  • You may be asked to run the Java application and accept the Java certificate.
  • Some Internet browsers are not compatible with the co-browse software.
During the Co-Browse Session
  • You maintain control of your computer
  • Only you can enter or submit information
  • We have the ability to use the pointer to guide your navigation
  • We can see your entire desktop and everything open on your screen
