Troubleshooting

Should you have any issues signing in to RBC Express, please check the following:

  • Sign In ID should always be entered in all lowercase
  • Password is case sensitive (make sure Caps Lock is not turned on, on your keyboard)
  • Token Number is mandatory for all users with an assigned hard or a soft RSA SecurID token. Some users may not be requiring token at sign-in. For more information, refer to Help with TokenID link located under the TokenID textbox on the Sign-in page.
  • Verify your computer meets the minimum standards to run RBC Express online banking as outlined in the View

  1. From the menu bar in Internet Explorer, select Tools, then “Internet Options”
  2. In the window that opens, click the Security tab
  3. Under Select a zone…, select the Internet icon and then click “Custom level…”

  4. Locate Active scripting and make sure Enable is selected
  5. Click “OK”
  6. Click “OK” to close the Internet Options window

From the menu bar in Internet Explorer, select Tools, then Pop-up Blocker and select “Turn Off Pop-up Blocker”

  1. From the menu bar in Firefox, select Tools, then “Options”
  2. In the window that opens, select the Content panel and make sure Enable JavaScript is selected
