If the recipient is registered for Autodeposit, the transfer will be processed immediately and cannot be changed or reversed. In this case, funds are immediately withdrawn from your account and deposited into that person’s account.
To Edit the Recipient Information and Security Questions/Answer in the Mobile App:
- Tap Move Money in the Navigation Bar
- Tap the Send an Interac e-Transfer
- Tap the History Tab
- Select the transfer you want to edit
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Edit & Resent
- Tap to edit the email, phone number or security question
- Tap Save & Resend

- Sign in to Online Banking.
- On the right-hand side of the Accounts Summary page, select Payment History.
- Select the Interac e-Transfer that you want to edit.
- Select Edit & Resend.
- Select Continue and follow the on-screen instructions.
To change the amount of the transfer or the originating account, you’ll need to cancel the existing transfer and create a new one.
To Cancel an Existing Eransfer in Online Banking:
- Sign in to Online Banking.
- On the right-hand side of the Accounts Summary page, select Payment History.
- Select the Interac e-Transfer that you want to cancel.
- Select Cancel Payment and follow the on-screen instructions to cancel the transfer.
