If the recipient is registered for Autodeposit, the transfer will be processed immediately and cannot be changed or reversed. In this case, funds are immediately withdrawn from your account and deposited into that person’s account.

To Edit the Recipient Information and Security Questions/Answer in the Mobile App:

  • Tap Move Money in the Navigation Bar
  • Tap the Send an Interac e-Transfer
  • Tap the History Tab
  • Select the transfer you want to edit
  • Scroll to the bottom and tap Edit & Resent
  • Tap to edit the email, phone number or security question
  • Tap Save & Resend

Note that this slightly differs on an Android device.
