Carry the flame
RBC is proud to be a Presenting Partner in the 2010 Olympic Torch Relay. The Olympic Flame will be lit in Olympia, Greece prior to arriving in Canada for the start of a 35,000 kilometer journey , through every province and territory in Canada to its destination at the Opening Ceremony in Vancouver’s BC Place on February 12, 2010.
About 12,000 Canadians will be selected to participate as torchbearers in the 2010 Olympic Torch Relay. Could you be one of them?
Specific details regarding the relay route and the Olympic Torchbearer application process will be announced in November. Stay tuned for details on how you can apply to become a torchbearer and participate in this historic event.
