RBC NOMI Find & Save Activation Offer - Terms & Conditions
“Bonus Amount” means $25 credited to your Eligible Personal Banking Account, if you have fulfilled all Qualifying Criteria and keep NOMI Find and Save turned on for a minimum of 5 weeks.
“Eligible Personal Savings & Investments Client” means a client who:
- As of the start of the Promotional Period, holds at least one of the following RBC personal savings or investment products:
- RBC High Interest eSavings account;
- RBC Enhanced Savings account;
- RBC Registered Savings Deposits;
- RBC Day-to-Day Savings account;
- RBC Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) (including RBC MarketSmart and Market-Linked GICs);
- RBC Mutual Funds; and
- As of the start of the Promotional Period, is the sole owner of an Eligible Personal Banking Account; and
- As of the start of the Promotional Period has never turned on NOMI Find & Save; and
- Is also a resident of Canada and of the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside as of the date they turn on NOMI Find & Save to qualify for this Promotional Offer. Residence is determined by the jurisdiction (province or territory) where a client has their primary tax filing obligation based on their regular place of residence;
“Eligible Personal Banking Account” means any of the following accounts owned by you in sole ownership: RBC Day to Day Banking, RBC No Limit Banking®, RBC Student Banking®, RateLink Preference®, RateLink Essential®, RateLink Essential - Sixty Plus®, RBC VIP Banking®; RBC Signature No Limit Banking, or RBC No Limit Banking for Students account;
“Promotional Offer” means the offer as defined in Section 1 below;
“Promotional Period” means the period starting on November 16, 2020 and ending at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on November 30, 2020;
“Qualifying Criteria” means the conditions set out in Section 2 below.
“Qualify By Date” means November 30, 2020 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time, by which time you are required to complete the Qualifying Criteria in order to qualify for the Promotional Offer;
“RBC Employees” mean all our employees and pensioners;
“Terms” mean these terms and conditions that govern this Promotional Offer;
“you” and “your” mean the Eligible Personal Client, selected by us, to whom we extend the Promotional Offer by any means in our sole discretion;
“we”, “us”, “our” and “Royal Bank” mean Royal Bank of Canada or any of its deposit taking subsidiaries.
- The Promotional Offer
Provided you fulfill the conditions set out in Sections 2 and 3 below, you may earn the following:
The Bonus Amount deposited to your Personal Banking Account
(hereinafter, the “Promotional Offer”).
- How to qualify for the Promotional Offer:
To qualify for this Promotional Offer and receive the Bonus Amount, you must meet the following criteria by the Qualify By Date:
- be an Eligible Client; and
- turn on NOMI Find & Save in the RBC Mobile® app during the Promotional Period and by the Qualify By Date.
PLEASE NOTE: To meet this condition, you must:- (i) enroll or already be enrolled in RBC Online Banking;
- (ii) download, install, and sign into the RBC Mobile app from a compatible mobile device (or have already done so); and
- (iii) turn on NOMI Find & Save within the RBC Mobile app.
By turning on NOMI Find & Save, you will consent to the NOMI Find & Save Service and open a NOMI Find & Save Account. You must also designate a “Source Account” to be associated with your NOMI Find & Save Account. Additional terms and conditions apply. - Conditions that apply to the Promotional Offer
The following conditions also apply to this Promotional Offer:
- The NOMI Find & Save Account you open to qualify for this Promotional Offer, as well as the Eligible Personal Banking Account that you designate as its “Source Account”, must both be owned in sole ownership by you in order to qualify for this Promotional Offer and receive the Bonus Amount. If you open a NOMI Find & Save Account and designate a corresponding “Source Account” in joint ownership with another person, you will be deemed not to have qualified for this Promotional Offer and will not receive the Bonus Amount, even though you may be permitted to do so under the RBC Royal Bank NOMI Find & Save Service and NOMI Find & Save Account Terms and Conditions.
- The Promotional Offer is available to Eligible Clients only, and only one Promotional Offer and corresponding Bonus Amount may be earned by an Eligible Client, regardless of how many Eligible RBC personal savings or investment products or other products or services they may hold with RBC.
- RBC Employees are not eligible to participate in the Promotional Offer.
- The Promotional Offer is available to residents of Canada only; residence is determined by the jurisdiction (province or territory) where a client has their primary tax filing obligation based on their regular place of residence.
- If you meet the Qualifying Criteria and all other criteria by their respective applicable deadlines as described herein, the Bonus Amount will be deposited directly to your Eligible Personal Banking Account within ten (10) business days of the end of the Promotional Period. However, in the event that you have more than one Eligible Personal Banking Account, the Bonus Amount will be deposited to the account designated as your primary personal deposit account in our systems, even if that account is a different account than the account you have designated as your “Source Account” associated with your NOMI Find & Save Account.
- You must keep NOMI Find & Save turned on and continue to meet all other Qualifying Criteria for at least five (5) consecutive weeks from the date on which you initially turn on NOMI Find & Save. If you receive the Bonus Amount but subsequently turn off NOMI Find & Save or close your NOMI Find & Save Account prior to five (5) weeks from the date on which you initially turned on NOMI Find & Save, we reserve the right to debit your Eligible Personal Banking Account or any of your accounts with us for the Bonus Amount, even if this places your Eligible Personal Banking Account or any other account into overdraft. If your Eligible Personal Banking Account is closed and you do not have any other account with us at that time, we reserve the right to send you an invoice in the amount of the Bonus Amount that was paid to you, which you agree to pay within 30 days of its postmark date.
- You have until January 31, 2021 to notify us if you believe you have qualified for the Promotional Offer and completed the Qualifying Criteria by the applicable deadlines, but have not received your Bonus Amount. Any notice received after this date, will not be accepted and you will be deemed not to have qualified for this Promotional Offer.
- Additional Conditions that apply to all Promotional Offers
- The Promotional Offer and these Terms do not, in any way, affect any of the service fees or other fees related to the operation of any of our personal banking accounts, credit card accounts, or business banking accounts, which continue to apply.
- he Promotional Offer shall not be combined with any other offers or promotions, except as may be specifically permitted under the terms and conditions applicable thereto.
- We reserve the right to change the Promotional Offer and these Terms at any time. The posting of the current Terms at rbc.com/nomioffer shall be deemed sufficient notice to you of such Terms and any changes, if required.
- Limitations that apply to all Promotional Offers
- We reserve the right to cancel the Promotional Offer at any time for any reason at our complete discretion without notice.
- In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the content of any document, brochure or promotional material advertising the Promotional Offer, these Terms shall prevail. - We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend, disqualify, limit or revoke this Promotional Offer to any person or account holder we find or believe to be manipulating or otherwise abusing the process, fairness, integrity or operation of the Promotional Offer, including any person whose overall client relationship with us is in our sole opinion not in good standing.
