The best way to address your complaint is to raise the issue as soon as it comes up.

We encourage you to get in touch with us at any time, either through our website, by phone, or in person. We want to address your complaint in the most professional manner possible. You can express your concerns or provide feedback about your experiences with RBC by completing the steps below.

Step 2

At RBC, we are committed to preserving your confidence and trust in us and to helping resolve your complaint as quickly and easily as possible. We will initiate a review and aim to provide an update or resolution within ten (10) business days from the date of receipt of your complaint.

Step 3

In cases where you do not feel satisfied with the response or resolution you have received:

  1. You can ask to be referred to the relevant Branch Manager or employee’s manager.
  2. If a manager is unable to resolve a complaint to your satisfaction, you can ask to escalate your complaint. We will provide the contact information to enable you to escalate the matter to the RBC Client Complaints Appeal Office (CCAO). The RBC CCAO is the most senior designated office appointed to address escalated complaints within RBC.
  3. Should you be dissatisfied after escalating to the CCAO, you may escalate the matter to a local regulator or the local financial services Ombudsman for review.
