The Convenience of Online Banking

RBC Royal Bank customers can make additional RRSP contributions to GICs, as well as RBC Funds and RBC Savings Deposits, and can switch existing RBC Royal Bank RRSP investments between these options – all online!

To make additional RRSP contributions online or switch existing investments, you must be enrolled in Online Banking and have an RRSP account.

Follow These Easy Steps to Contribute to Your RRSP Online:

  1. From the Banking tab under My Accounts, select the RRSP you want to contribute to from the Investments section.
  2. Select "Contribute" from the left-hand menu of the RRSP Account Holdings page.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete your contribution.

To purchase RBC Funds online, you must have already provided us with your Investor Profile, which you can view by clicking on Investor Profile from the RRSP Account Details section within Online Banking. If you are providing us with your Investor Profile for the first time or need to update your existing profile, you must visit your branch or call 1-800-463-3863.
