When you think about it, travel insurance is a nominal expense compared to the high cost of healthcare and the fact that you leave up to 90% of your government health insurance plan (GHIP) behind when you travel outside Canada. 1
For example, in Florida, a fall resulting in a head injury can average $179,000 (CDN).2 Without travel insurance, you could be responsible for up to 90% of these costs! In contrast, the Travel HealthProtector insurance premium for a single 8-day trip would cost less than $32 for someone age 30-59.
How Travel HealthProtector® Insurance Can Help
