Yes. The minimum value for Visa Prepaid Cards is $25 and the maximum value is $1,500 for standard cards. Cards are only available in Canadian dollars. Speak to our Prepaid Card Client Services Team if you have specific card denomination requirements. They will be happy to help you with your customized solution.

Visa Prepaid Cards are not refundable for cash or other banking products.

Yes, a minimum of 100 cards are required for standard RBC design card orders and 500 cards are required for co-brand or custom design card orders. Orders of fewer than 100 cards are subject to a surcharge. We recommend that you visit an RBC Royal Bank branch if you require fewer than 100 cards for your program. For single card orders of 10,000 or more, please speak to our Prepaid Card Client Services Team for cost, card production timing and delivery.

Yes, we do offer the option to ship cards directly to cardholders/recipients. Please let us know if you are interested in this option, and we will work with you on the requirements. Additional fees will apply.

Each card is distributed with a Card Agreement. This agreement fully explains the terms and conditions regarding the use of the card. The standard agreement can be viewed here . The recipient/end user of the card accepts the terms and conditions by activating the card, signing the back of the card, using the card or registering the card.

Yes, you may use Visa Prepaid Cards in your marketing and communications materials including brochures, websites and advertising. All materials are subject to review and approval before they are printed, distributed or posted externally. Please speak to our Prepaid Card Client Services Team for details.

Standard RBC Visa Prepaid Cards can only be loaded once, at the time of purchase. Cards cannot be reloaded. Some custom programs will allow cards to be reloaded, but these cards can only be reloaded by the organization that purchased them. Cards cannot be reloaded by cardholders. Speak to your Prepaid Card Client Services Team if you have requirements for a reloadable card program. They will be happy to help you with a customized solution that meets your business need.
