Data files are available via the RBC Express or by data transmission. Use data files to directly update your records in an automated fashion.

Data Files are flat files containing information from your payment input file, reversed items, and returned items. The information can be used to automatically reconcile the payment instructions provided to RBC Royal Bank and update the status of your customer accounts.

Data File Types

A non-financial data file is also available that provides you with bank, branch and account number changes that may have resulted from a branch closure, merger or acquisition.
