You can qualify for the offer by:
Opening an RBC Advantage Banking account for students between July 3, 2025 and November 3, 2025, 9:00 PM EST
Completing 2 out of the 5 Qualifying Criteria from your new account by January 30, 2026 9:00 PM EST which are:
- Register for Interac Autodeposit and send or receive 1 e-Transfer
- Sign up for a Virtual Visa Debit Card and make 1 transaction
- Set up 1 automated and recurring payroll deposit
- Set up and complete 1 pre-authorized monthly payment or
- Set up and clear 1 eligible bill payment to a service provided (i.e. utility bill, cable, etc.)
NOTE:
The Qualifying Criteria you performed to get the AirPods Reward (such as registering for Interac Autodepost, signing up for and keeping the Virtual Visa Debit, recurring payroll/pension deposit, bill payment or pre-authorized monthly payment) must remain in effect until after July 3, 2026.
Once you qualify, to order your new AirPods you must have a valid deliverable email address where you will receive a message containing a secure link that will permit you to visit a secure online store where you can select your AirPods and confirm an address for delivery, as well as any other shipping details

- have never had a Personal Banking Account (chequing account) with RBC nor qualified for any of our offers related to opening a Personal Banking Account at any time during the Promotional Period or in the three-year period before the start of the Promotional Period.

Your Eligible Personal Banking Account must remain open and in good standing, and the Qualifying Criteria you performed to get the AirPods Reward (such as Interac Autodeposit set up, sign up and keep Virtual Visa Debit, payroll deposit, bill payment or pre-authorized payment) must remain in effect until at least October 31, 2026.
If you choose to qualify for this offer with the one (1) pre-authorized monthly payment (PAP) option, the payment must be withdrawn from your new eligible account by January 30, 2026. Pre-authorized monthly payments include, but are not limited to, utility bill payments (hydro, water, cable, phone, internet), pre-authorized contributions to your investments and gym membership payments.
Shortly after August 11, 2025, or after you complete the Qualifying Criteria (whichever is later), you will receive an email from RBC to the email address you have provided to us on account opening with a link to a secure website where you can order your device and confirm your shipment details. The website will also provide you with an estimated delivery time.
