RBC client is defined as a client of the RBC Companies or a spouse or child(ren) of a client.

Trip Interruption Insurance – After Departure covers the costs you would incur if you have to return home earlier or later than you originally planned. It also reimburses you for any non-refundable portions of unused, prepaid travel arrangements.

Trip Cancellation Insurance – Before Departure covers the non-refundable portion (i.e. deposits or cancellation charges) of your prepaid travel arrangements. It also allows you to recoup any cancellation penalties that a transportation carrier or tour operator may charge you.

Out of Pocket Expenses insurance reimburses you for extra expenses that result from one of the specified situations occurring. Such expenses can include your commercial accommodations and meals, essential phone calls, internet usage fees and taxi fares (ride sharing, or rental car in lieu of taxi fares) up to the specific maximum for your policy. Some conditions apply.

This insurance is subject to a maximum of $20,000 if you do not have valid government health plan coverage in force for the full length of your trip.
