Send money home, keep valuable items safe and much more.

Every month, you will receive your account statement in the mail or electronically through RBC Online Banking23 . Archives of your monthly statements can be viewed, printed or filed for up to seven years through Online Banking. You can also view copies of your cheques for up to 90 days.

Did you know? Your account statements can sometimes be used as identification and proof of your address, which can be useful when you’re setting up utilities and other services.

With RBC International Money Transfer13, you can send money 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to more than 120 countries, including the U.S. It’s an easy and secure way to send money to family and friends, right from your computer or tablet23. (Requires RBC Online Banking and a personal chequing or savings account.)

Send wire payments in almost any currency to most places in the world from any RBC Royal Bank branch. We also process incoming wire payments, whether the money is coming from inside or outside of Canada.

Bank drafts also can be used to make a payment to a third party in almost any currency.

A safe deposit box (lockbox) is a great way to keep important documents and valuables safe. Located inside the bank’s vault at most RBC Royal Bank branches, safe deposit boxes come in various sizes. You can access the contents of your safe deposit box anytime during banking hours.

For regular expenses, such as utility, phone or cable bills, you can set up automatic withdrawals from your banking account. Or, you can pay them on your own through RBC Online Banking or RBC Mobile banking.

With Interac e-Transfer transactions, you can send money to anyone in Canada with an email address or Canadian mobile phone number and a bank account with a participating Canadian financial institution. It’s also easy to transfer money to your Facebook friends using your iPhone, iPad or Android device. If you have an Apple device, you can also send money using Siri for RBC Mobile when enabled in your RBC Mobile settings.

If you want to convert cash, drafts, money orders or wire transfers into another currency, our in-branch foreign exchange services can assist you at very competitive rates.

Pay for your purchases made online, by phone or by mail order directly from your bank account. With unlimited transactions10 and no annual fee, it’s a convenient payment option if you do not have a credit card, or simply prefer to pay by debit.
